Lakeside Dock icon

  • Nemiah Lodge’s beautiful location next to Vedan Lake provides the perfect space for you to unwind and enjoy a quiet space for mindful reflection and relaxation. The Lodge offers yoga mats and lounge chairs for those who want to enjoy their own meditation in this spectacular location.

Kayaking icon

  • The Lodge has complimentary kayaks, canoes, SUPs and a private dock for you to swim or fish from. We provide adult and child lifejackets, but the lake is unsupervised so parents are required to look after their children on the water.

Fishing icon

  • Freshwater lakes abound on Title Lands and a 10 minute walk from the Lodge. The Lake house has fishing gear and kayaks/canoes that you can take out or fish right from the private dock on Vedan Lake. Guests need to purchase a BC Fishing License from the Lodge prior to heading out on the water.

  • Nemiah offers families a chance to chill out on the Lodge’s ranchlands with a variety of value added activities and opportunities. You can try your hand at aiming a bow on the archery field, play lawn croquet or horseshoes beside the Lodge or jump on one of the Lodge’s standard mountain bikes for a bike ride around the Lodge.

  • Xeni Gwet’in have declared much of their territory a protected area, designating it the Aboriginal Wilderness Preserve (1989). Here in these wild and remote landscapes, you may catch a glimpse of some of the animals that call Nemiah home - bear, grizzly, moose, fox, osprey, eagle, slamon, trout and many beautiful birds that summer in Nemiah.
