Honouring the Past, Building the Future

A meaningful step forward begins with listening, connection, and action. By supporting Indigenous-owned spaces like Nemiah Valley Lodge, you're not just visiting—you’re contributing to healing, partnership, and long-term change.

At Nemiah Valley Lodge, we welcome all people to experience the land, the quiet, and the culture that makes this place so unique. Whether you're here for rest, reflection, or reconnection, your presence supports more than a getaway—it supports Indigenous-led stewardship, culture, and community.

Nestled between Chilko Lake and the Taseko Lakes in the heart of British Columbia’s Chilcotin region, Nemiah Valley is home to the Xeni Gwet’in people of the Tŝilhqot’in Nation—People of the Blue River. With the sacred Tŝ’il?os Mountain watching over the valley, the Xeni Gwet’in have protected these ancestral lands for generations and continue to do so today for their children and for the future of the planet.

We believe this land is a place of both reflection and renewal—a place to gather, to share stories, and to shape new relationships rooted in respect. Whether you're part of a community group, an Indigenous organization, or a corporate team seeking to move beyond performative gestures, time spent here is a real, tangible way to honour the spirit of reconciliation.

We invite you to be part of that journey. Let the land hold space for your stories, your voices, and your vision for a stronger future—together.
